Athena Peppes is an independent thought leadership research consultant, specialising in strategic foresight. She has 15 years experience in shaping and delivering research-powered thought leadership projects for Accenture, on the topics of business change, transformation and emerging trends shaping the future of business. Research insights have been published in Harvard Business Review, The European Business Review and Rotman Magazine. Peppes is passionate about coaching and mentoring the next generation of research talent. She designed and was lead faculty for the global Accenture Research thought leadership training curriculum. Previously she worked as an economist for ArcelorMittal and the Association of British Insurers, following her postgraduate studies in Economics.

Emma is currently a Senior Director in the Insight Center at Alvarez & Marsal a consulting firms providing global leadership, problem solving and value creation for companies across industries and around the world. Emma has worked at A&M for 8 years – firstly developing and now leading the global “On-Demand” research service for the firm. She also supports other service offerings of Thought Leadership, Subscriptions, Internal Communications and Knowledge Management across EMEA.

Sarah Pullin is the Global Director of Knowledge at Baker McKenzie and part of the global leadership team. She leads the Knowledge Lawyers, KM Managers, Information & Research teams, Global Knowledge Experts, four off shore Knowledge teams and KM systems & tools in support of the Firm’s clients and business strategy. Sarah qualified and practiced as a lawyer before becoming a Professional Support Lawyer and has spent over 20 years managing and leading all aspects of Knowledge, including now as a global lead for the generative AI firmwide program for Baker McKenzie.

Simon Leigh

Simon leads purchasing across Brunswick and has over 30 years’ experience across a range of purchasing, research, knowledge and marketing roles in the financial and professional services sectors. Prior to joining Brunswick in 2008, Simon jointly ran the Knowledge and Research team at Deloitte, was a Senior Manager in the Ernst & Young Center for Business Knowledge, and held various roles in insurance and banking. Simon has an MBA from Henley Management College, a postgraduate diploma in Marketing and is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Karen Tessier has ~30 years of experience in business information and analytics in financial and professional services firms. She has experience managing global organizations, third-party governance, developing business-aligned strategies and executing large-scale transformation programs with an over-riding focus on best-in-class service delivery.

Karen is currently Head of EMEA Business Information and Analytics (BIA), which provides insight-based Research and Analytics with a goal to drive operational efficiency and return business capacity to firmwide business partners. She is also Global Lead for Translations where she strategically manages enterprise-wide machine and manual translation vendors. Karen also provides governance and oversight for digital transformation looking at the development of in-house tools, vendor applications and the practical application of GenAI.

Ceri Hughes

Ceri has worked at KPMG for 24 years. For 16 years she led Knowledge Management and Research groups at the firm in the UK and internationally, including the establishment of offshore knowledge operations in India. She became the Head of Learning and Knowledge Management for KPMG UK in 2017. In 2020 she was part of the team leading the firm’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic, and since 2022 she has been the Director of Operations for KPMG’s Chief People Officer. Prior to working at KPMG, Ceri was the Global Head of Information and Records Management at an international telecommunications company. She began her career as a Library Association/SCONUL Graduate Trainee at the Lord Chancellor’s Department.

Bringing over 25 years of experience to his role, Pratyush has demonstrated exceptional skill in building and expanding high-performance global teams and has been instrumental in steering strategic initiatives for multinational client projects.

Pratyush has helped pioneer the company strategy and innovation, notably through the introduction of AI and Generative-AI technologies. Cornelia Andersson, MBA, MCLIP, FIA, is Group Leader of Sustainable Finance & Investing, Data & Analytics, at the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). In her current role, Cornelia runs a global business with a significant footprint across the financial community focused on solving sustainability related challenges for investors, corporates, banks and other market participants, through data and analytics based solutions. An experienced data and information professional, Cornelia oversees a product portfolio including data, workflow solutions, analytics and reporting solutions, and leads commercial and partner strategy. She has led several business units in the market data and analytics space including Deals and Corporate Finance.

Prior to joining LSEG, Cornelia was Senior Vice President, Global Head of Research and Market Data, at Blackstone, the world’s largest alternative asset manager, managing the firm’s market data and business intelligence functions. A frequent speaker at industry events on market data and information as well as sustainable finance, Cornelia is a chartered information professional (CILIP), FIA qualified and has completed an MBA at Imperial College, London. She holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science from Lund University, Sweden. Cornelia is a Board Member for the Net Zero Data Public Utility (NZDPU), the Chartered Institute of Librarians and Information Professionals and an advisory board member for Position Green.
